Humanising one of Malaysia’s largest homegrown conglomerates
Challenge
In an effort to connect with its intended audience, Sunway Group started their own social media platforms and a Sunway Stories microsite that documents all onground activations from its business units to corporate CSR deeds. However, both platforms were not yielding good results and they needed the agency to increase engagement with target audiences and drive click-through to the website.
Solution
VoxEureka developed a communication strategy that humanizes the brand imagery and storytelling.
Where possible, content on all platforms include human elements that are expressive and emotive to accentuate the brand’s intangible affinity and reputation. Content were also optimized through a varied content schedule, especially video stories which carried a concise and humble tone of voice. Coupled with a narrative that resonates with internal and external stakeholders, which ultimately allowed for genuine connection with its audience.
Outcome
Within the first six months, we were happy to see an increase in follower growth on our social media pages (FB, LinkedIn and IG) with an average growth rate of 21.13% across two quarters. With all social content funneling back to Sunway Stories hosted on the website, we successfully increased the website traffic up to 33% compared to the past quarter, with an average duration of over 2 minutes. Organic search also observed a steady growth alongside Social channels
